I forgot to post about our textbook because i made a mistake that i must post at least one post from our class, not the text.
So, i will start to write about our textbook from now.
Reading the textbook, i agreed and with the chapter two, "leader should be visible."
the leadership i am trying is different from Shackleton's one but i found many points to know the common point for the people who lead the group. he says to use the personal experience and let people see you leading. i think these two points are very important point to be a good leader because the leader is the person who stand in the front and lead the other group members and if the leader could not lead the member visibly, the dignity of the leader will disappear. this means the breakdown of the organization.
use the own experience might make a good relationship between the followers. By using the leader's own experience, followers will know about more and realize the leader as the same human with them. Not always but sometimes there might be some effects like this.
this text is very useful for me i will keep reading and learn about leadership!!!
Hi Yuji,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your posts. Distributed leadership is perfect for you as a topic because you can apply it so easily with your club and in the way you are finding a new kind of leadership. This new kind will also allow you to use all of these points we are learning from Shackleton as well, including being visible.
Seems you have some catching up to do. I encourage you to do so as your reading and summarizing and applying of these ideas will surely make you a stronger leader.
