my winter vacation has started from the end of December.
i did not have a plan for traveling to somewhere or going shopping and so on. i did not want to go outside because it was cold this winter. i went to my friends house in Chiba to play card game during all the night. To tell the truth, me and my friend enjoyed playing card games and became tired so we slept after midnight. This was my big event of my 2014. At New years eve, i watched kouhaku song festival because Perfume was performing. They were using the latest technology during they were dancing and i thought it was amazing!!!!
However, when it became 2015, my body was not a good condition. Before i go to bed, i could not sleep because of my stomach ache and head ache. I could not each Osechi because of this. I am very sad that i could not each Osechi this year. when my condition got better, it was the day before the school starts so, maybe i could not enjoyed this year's winter vacaton...

As to your proposal, I think you have a great idea—you just need to start your research and have confidence that you are on to something interesting. Actually, I am in the very same position with my paper, and I am having to tell myself and motivate myself in the same way, so let's keep supporting each other.
Oh, also, be sure to have at least one post about our text. It is a great book and you can show me that you are reading it and learning from it.
