my introduction(maybe)

These days there are many organization around our life and leadership is common to everyone around the world. The leadership has some relationship between the country’s society type. In japan, most of the people will think “vertical leadership” is normal because japan is vertical structure society. Vertical structure society is a type of society which focus on “what are you belonging?” like school, company, and so on. This society type has strong hierarchical relationship and this appears in the company’s boss and subordinate. The opposite type is horizontal structure society, India is a good example, that focus on “what is your capacity?” such as job, caste and so on. Especially, in Japan vertical leadership is used in most of the places. Such as company, laboratory and even in children's club activity.
    Vertical leadership might be old for these days when we look at Fortune’s “World most Admired Company 2014”.() Only around 10 company raked in top 100 but most of them got lower rank than 2013. This vertical leadership and vertical structure society is very special that only few countries such as japan, korea and so on only uses them mainly. Not just the leadership type made the japanese company’s rank lower but as we can see, there are no new company that is getting popular these days born in Japan. The japan’s leadership might be stuck and need some new type of leadership. Distributed leadership is a kind of new leadership which is introduced recently. If the vertical leadership is  compared as a group which has boss and subordinate, distributed leadership is like a team which means everyone has almost the same power and decide what to do by everyone. So, this distributed leadership is better than vertical leadership.

    This paper will examine how distributed leadership is useful these days. It begin with the demerit and the limit of vertical leadership. Then look at the merit of the distributed leadership and how it can solve the problems of vertical leadership. Finally, the common point of two leadership and explain how we can change the leadership style with explaining the example of success in other company.



i thought i need more research and read them because there are many points that needs sources. i hope i had more times,,,

    It is interesting that you see the vertical leadership as old and we (Japan) need the horizontal structure as new. I think it is very important to have valance to keep some good points from old one and take in new one.
    You could summarize your writing plan well.

    Wow, four posts since I last checked! Thanks for all that. I especially like seeing a post related to the text. It is a good text, and these ideas, like optimism and stamina, are important as you have pointed out.
